RALEIGH, N.C. - Howard junior Daniel Kinney qualified for NCAA Regionals in the 400m hurdles during play at the Raleigh Relays, hosted by North Carolina State, on March 28-29.

Kinney finished ninth in the event and posted an NCAA qualifying time of 52.44, joining Landria Buckley who qualified for the Regional last weekend at the Wake Forest Open. Buckley improved on her qualifying time this weekend after crossing the 100m hurdle line in 13.6, winning the preliminary round of the event with her finish. She also qualified for the NCAA Regional meet in the 400m hurdles, crossing the line in 59.24 en route to a third-place finish.

Kinney took home another top-10 finish after posting a seventh-place finish in the 110m hurdles in 14.55.

The men's 4x200m relay squad finished seventh in 1:30.11 and the 4x100m team took 14th in 42.71. Thurman Sanders crossed the 1500m line in 4:03.98 to round out the top performances for the Bison men.

The Lady Bison saw Buckley earn a third-place finish in the 400m hurdles in 59.24. Ashley Hodges was seventh in the 800m run in 2:15.29 and the women's 4x1500m relay squad took 12th in 21:13.23.

Howard next travels to Williamsburg, Va. for the Colonial Meet on April 4-5.
