Howard results at the 2009 Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, PA. -  The Howard men's and women's relay teams shined during competition at the Penn Relays in Philadelphia. Individual action saw Daniel Kinney and Landria Buckley take honors in the hurdle events at Franklin Field.

Buckley finished seventh in the 100m hurdles in 13.52. The Michigan native also helped the 4x400m relay team (Lauren McNary, Brittany Stephens, Buckley, Jami Hardy) to an eighth place finish in 3:49.63.

Buckley also crossed the 400m hurdle line in 1:02.56.

Daniel Kinney was 10th in the 400m hurdles (52.41). He placed seventh in his heat in the 110m hurdles, finishing in 14.19 and taking 15th overall.

The 4x400m relay squad (Christopher Harrison, Richard Williams, Kinney, Mikael LaRoche) finished in 3:15.11 and the 4x100 team was sixth in their heat in 42.40.

Williams, Jerod Franklin, Thurman Sanders and Lavernon Spivey helped Howard to an 11th place finish in the 4x800m relay. The team clocked in at 7:36.18.
