Volleyball Drops Season Opener to Elon

Sophomore Gazelle d’Artois (Newhall, Calif./Hart H.S.) led the Bison with eight kills as the Howard volleyball team was swept in its season opener against Elon in the first match of the ECU Pirate Classic in Greenville, N.C. Friday afternoon. Elon won by scores of 25-13, 25-15 and 25-19. [more]
