Howard Falls to Campbell in Four

Washington, DC---The Howard women's volleyball team fell to Campbell 3-1, (30-19, 30-20, 26-30, 30-20), in its final match of the Georgetown Classic.

The Lady Bison appeared to be sluggish through games one and two but managed to get on track for game three.

In game three the Lady Bison (1-6) had complete control as they led the entire game.  The Lady Bison would go up by as many as 10 before the Camels (3-7) could find their offense.  Howard managed to hold off a late run in game three winning by four, 30-26.

Campbell once again gained control of the match defeating Howard in game four to win the match three games to one.

Morgan Maxwell had another good showing for the Lady Bison with a game high 16 kills while Jenica Leonard controlled the defense with 15 digs.

The Lady Bison will be back in action this Tuesday when they host Coppin State University at 7 p.m.  The Lady Bison will have to open their home season away from Burr Gym due to renovations.  The location for the game is the Trinity Center located on the campus of Trinity College.
