Brittany James Named MEAC Player of the Week

Virginia Beach, Va.--Senior guard Brittany James has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week.

James averaged 18.5 points and 5.5 rebounds to help Howard to a 2-0 mark in the MEAC last week.  James scored a season-high 25 points of 7-of-16 from the field, and was 8-of-9 from the charity stipe in win over South Carolina State last Thursday.
