Prior to Howard: Gross was a standout student-athlete at Shoreline Community College....  Along with being a member of the honor society, she led the team in scoring and assistswas the leading scorer and assist woman during the school's post-season run averaging 15.2 points with 7 assists....  At Rainier Beach High School, Gross was a member of the All-Metro 1st Team for basketball as well as the Most Valuable Player of her volleyball team and...She was also a member of the National Honor Society.

About Gross:  Why did you choose to attend Howard: To take part of history and immerse myself around goal oriented and intelligent black students. Lastly to play basketball and represent the Lady Bison; Favorite Saying: "Where much is given, much is required" and "Girl bye"; Favorite food: Sushi and oriental salad.

Favorite Past-Time: Reading, sleeping, and spending time with friends and family; Athletic Role Models: Woman-Tamika Catchings, Man-Steve Nash; Siblings: (amount and names)  (7) Alex , Danielle, Tameka 19, Elzena, Aliyah, Sidney and Darnell.
