Benson Named to the Pre-Season All-MEAC First Team 

Melloni Benson has been named to the 2006-07 Pre-Season All-MEAC First Team as voted upon by the leagues head coaches and sports information directors.

Benson, a 6-1 senior from Dayton, OH (Dunbar High School) was second in scoring and rebounding for the Lady Bison last season with 12.2 and 3.9 respectively.

Benson was also ranked in the top 15 in several categories in the MEAC including being ranked second in blocks with 1.35 per game.
