The Game
The Howard women's basketball team continues MEAC play with a match-up against the Lady Rattlers of Florida A&M (FAMU). The Lady Bison fell to Hampton 73-61 in its MEAC opener last week. Asha Santee paced Howard with a game-high 21 points and Tamaya Daniels added 14 points, seven rebounds and four blocked shots.

FAMU is 9-3 and opened its season with a 7-0 mark. The Lady Rattlers fell to Savannah State 74-66 in its last time out on Jan. 4 and were led by three players in double figures. Stephanie Foster finished with 18 while Joslyne Jackson and Taniyah Dawson added 14 and 10, respectively.

The Game
This is a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference game between the Rattlers of Florida A&M University and the Bison of Howard University.  The Rattlers (4-9 overall, 0-1 in the MEAC) defeated Warner Southern, 75-62 at home on January 5 to snap a three-game losing streak  The Bison (3-11 overall, 0-1 in the MEAC) have dropped seven in a row, the most recent a 67-62 loss to Furman in the consolation game of the St. Mary's Classic back on December 29.
