Doyle Earns Second Rookie of the Week Nod
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. - Howard freshman Saadia Doyle (Atlanta, Ga./Columbia H.S.) has been named the MEAC Rookie of the Week for the second time this season, the conference announced today.
Doyle shot 86-percent from the field (6-of-7) with 16 points, eight rebounds and two steals against Central Michigan last Saturday.
She was also garnered rookie of the week honors on Dec. 7.
Howard is off until Dec. 29-30 and returns to action in the Hawk Holiday Classic presented by Staybridge Suites and Hotels. Tourney play pits the Lady Bison against host Monmouth in a 2 p.m. matchup on Dec. 29. Howard faces LaSalle or Holy Cross in the finale on Dec. 30.
