The Game
Howard enters Friday's contest with a 1-3 mark. The
Lady Bison defeated Jacksonville 58-42 on Nov. 25 for its
first win of the season while Maryland (4-1) took down Samford,
76-49 in its last time out on Nov. 24.
Junior Zykia Brown paced Howard with a game-high 16 points in the win over the Dolphins. Redshirt freshman Saadia Doyle added 12 points and 10 rebounds, her third double-double in four games, and Tamoria Holmes chipped in 14 points and four assists in 24 minutes off the bench.
Lynetta Kizer's 20 points paced the Terps against Samford. Tianna Hawkins added 14 while Dara Taylor and Lori Bjork chipped in 11 points each.
