Saadia Doyle Named MEAC Rookie of the Week For Sixth Time
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Saadia Doyle (Atlanta, Ga./Columbia H.S.) was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week for the sixth time this season, it was announced yesterday.
Doyle averaged 21 points and 8.5 rebounds in two games for the Lady Bison last week. She tallied 22 points, seven rebounds and two steals against South Carolina State. She followed with 20 points and 10 rebounds for her 14th double-double of the year against North Carolina A&T.
Howard (12-12, 7-5 MEAC) returns to action on Saturday with a road matchup against Florida A&M. Game time against the Lady Rattlers is slated for 5:30 pm in Tallahassee, Fla.
