Zykia Brown Named MEAC Player of the Week
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. - Junior guard Zykia Brown (Riverdale, Md./Parkdale H.S.) was named the MEAC Player of the Week, the conference announced today.
Brown recorded 23 points and nine rebounds in a 62-55 loss to
George Mason last week. The junior added two assists, one block and
one steal and fell one rebound shy of a double-double. Her 23
points was a season-high for HU.
Howard travels to Central Michigan on Saturday, Dec. 19 for 2 p.m.
matchup at Rose Arena.
