Saadia Doyle Named MEAC Player of the Week
NORFOLK, VA - Sophomore forward Saadia Doyle was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Doyle (Forward, 5-11, r-So., Atlanta, Georgia) averaged 19.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals to aid Howard to a 1-1 mark last week. She shot 50-percent from the field (14-of-28), 67-percent from beyond the arc (2-of-3), and 9-of-12 from the charity stripe. In the win over Long Island, she recorded 24 points and eight rebounds. Doyle followed that performance with her fourth double-double of the year (15 points, 10 rebounds) against Hampton.
