WASHINGTON, DC - This Saturday's home women's basketball game against the University of Maryland Eastern Shore has been designated as Girls Scouts Day. 

Several local troops will attend the game as guests of the Howard University women's basketball team.  The HU women's program understands the importance of the Girls Scouts in the community, as this organization allows young girls to find themselves on their journey to young adulthood.

Activities that day include free giveaways and player autograph session.

The game tipoff is scheduled for 2 pm.
