HOWARD UNIVERSITY MEN’S AND WOMEN’S BASKETBALL GAMES ON TAP

WASHINGTON, D.C. (www.howard-bison.com) – January 9 - Come out and support the Howard University men's and women's basketball teams as they host their first Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference doubleheader of the season on Saturday, Jan. 12 and Monday, Jan. 14 in Burr Gymnasium.
All the action begins on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., when the Lady Bison, who are the MEAC pre-season favorite, host the Lady Pirates of Hampton University. Hampton is the two-time defending MEAC champion and defeated Howard 54-53 during the 2012 conference championship game. Succeeding the women's game will be the men's Battle of the Real HUs at 4:00 p.m.
Doubleheader action continues on Monday, Jan. 14 when Howard welcomes the Spartans of Norfolk State University in a live ESPNU broadcast. The women tip-off at 5:30 p.m., while the men tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
