HOWARD LADY BISON HOOPS: HOWARD V. MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE

WASHINGTON, D.C. (www.howard-bison.com) – February 8 – Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference continues on Saturday, Feb. 9 as the Howard University women's basketball teams takes on the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Burr Gymnasium at 2:00 p.m., in Washington, D.C.
Thus far on HU's four-game homestand, the Lady Bison are 1-1, with a Monday, Feb. 4 buzz-beating 54-53 loss to South Carolina State.
With 22-second remaining, Howard displaced two one-and-one options from the charity stripe, giving SCSU the cushion necessary to monopolize on three consecutive layup attempts for HU's third MEAC loss.
Senior Saadia Doyle led the contest with 13 points, while freshman Imani Bailey, who shot of 2-of -3 from the long range, finished with 12 points, and Cheyenne Brown's notched a career-high 10 points. Senior Cheyenne Curley-Payne tallied nine points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
Howard is 12-9 on the season, 6-3 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, 6-7 on the road and 6-2 at home.
