DOVER, DEL. - Howard defeated Coppin State in individual and team play during action at MEAC North competition on Saturday and Sunday.

Jordane Frazier and Brianna Uzzell each rolled an 829 series during head-to-head action on day one.

Elizabeth Sanders knocked down 786 pins while Jasmine Hardesty (531 pins, four games), Alesyn McCall (384, three games) and Taneeka Hanna (357 pins, three games) also saw action for Howard.

The Lady Bison took down CSU 762-710 on day one. HU later bested the Eagles 4-2 during best-of-seven baker action on day two.

Howard took conference foe Maryland Eastern Shore to the brink during baker action, but the Hawks held on and edged the Bison 4-3.

HU (8-25, 5-15 MEAC) returns to action on Nov. 20-22 at the Capital Classic in Millsboro, Del.
