HOWARD BOWLING FINISHES 3-7 DURING MEAC EVENT
PRINCESS ANNE, MD. (www.howard-bison.com) – The Howard University women's bowling team concluded the 2012 calendar with the second Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference event of the season in Baltimore, Md., hosted by Morgan State on Dec. 1-2.
Howard faced its MEAC North foes: Coppin State, Delaware State, Hampton, Maryland Eastern Shore, and Morgan State.
As usual, the event began with team play on Saturday, Dec. 1 and ended with Sunday, Dec. 2 baker's play.
HU defeated Coppin State 842-785 for their only win during team play, as Jordane Frazier tallied a team-high 207 pinfall in the squad's 828-846 loss to Morgan State.
The Lady Bison went 2-of-3 during baker's play, with HU defeating Coppin State (713-628) and Hampton (765-702).
Howard concluded the event 3-7.
The Lady Bison return to action on Friday, Jan. 18 for the Lady Bulldogs Classic in Laurel, Md. (AMF Laurel).
