Howard Women’s Lacrosse Falls to Manhattan
Washington, DC, March 5—The Howard women’s lacrosse team fell to Manhattan College, 11-18, in a match-up in Greene Stadium.
Freshman Sakita Holley (5-3, Willingboro, NJ, Willingboro High School) led the Lady Bison with five goals for five points. Dominique Browner and Alana Webb each scored two goals as the Lady Bison fell to 0-5 on the season. Browner recorded the only assist in the game for the Lady Bison.
Alicia Psillos (4 goals-2 assists) and Jenny Carman (3 goals-3 assists) led Manhattan with 6 points. Lauren Civardi contributed four goals and one assist for five points in the victory.
The Lady Bison will be back in action in Greene Stadium this Thursday at 4 p.m. when they host Stonehill College.
