Lady Bison Open Up Season With a Loss to Manhattan
RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Sakita Holley had a team-high three goals as the Lady Bison dropped its season opener to Manhattan, 20-8 at Gaelic Park in Riverdale, N.Y.
Alanah Webb, Lauren Rivers, Candice Bouknight, Ashley Lawrence and Sashah Ramirez each contributed one goal in the loss. Bouknight also picked up one assist against the Jaspers.
Overall, Manhattan (1-0) outshot Howard 58-17 and had 46 ground ball to Howard's 26.
HU (0-1) makes its home debut on March 2 versus Niagara at 1pm.
