Wildcats Trounce Bison
DAVIDSON, N.C. - Haley Cook had a team-high four goals to lead Davidson to a 22-4 win over Howard in women's lacrosse action Friday afternoon at Davidson, N.C.
The Bison (2-10) was led in scoring by junior Sakita Holley, who finished with two. Seniors Alanah Webb and Sashah Ramirez each picked one goal apiece.
Davidson held a 46-13 advantage in shots and 18-10 edge in ground balls. Howard goalie Bianca Lamar finished with 12 saves while Wildcat keeper Laura Johnson had three saves and the win.
Howard wraps up its regular season on Sunday, May 4 with a senior day contest against Louisville at Greene Stadium. Game time is slated for 1pm.
