FARMVILLE, VA. - Howard fell to Davidson, 20-3 in the opening round of the National Lacrosse Conference (NLC) Tournament Friday morning in Farmville, Va. The loss drops the Bison to the losers bracket where they will face Liberty in an elimination game on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Ashley Lawrence, Chasity Dailey and Desiree Cox each added unassisted goals for HU.
Jen Crawford paced the Wildcats with a game-high six goals.
Howard (2-13) keeper Amber Meeks stopped eight shots and Davidson goalie Michelle Pav had 10 saves in the win.
Liberty dropped a 24-8 loss to Jacksonville in an earlier matchup and fell to the losers bracket with the loss.
