2009 Lacrosse Schedule Released

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A total of 12 matchups, including home contests against UMBC, University of Detroit-Mercy, Niagara, Bryant, University of California-Davis and Fresno State highlight the 2009 Howard women's lacrosse schedule.

HU makes its home debut on Saturday, Feb. 14 against the UMBC Retrievers at 1pm. Howard then hosts Detroit -Mercy the following weekend on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 1pm before traveling to New Castle, Del. on Feb. 28 for a matchup against Wilmington. The Bison will scrimmage Wilkes College at Greene Stadium on March 4 before hitting the road for contests against St. Francis (Pa.), Canisius and Wilmington (Md). 

In April, the team will play four times and ends its regular season on April 20 with an away game at Navy in Annapolis, Md. The senior night matchup takes place on April 11 versus Fresno State.
