LORETTO, PA. - St. Francis (Pa.) defeated Howard, 20-3 in a women's lacrosse decision Wednesday evening in Loretto, Pa.
Sakita Holley scored two unassisted goals in the first half for HU, who falls to 0-6 with the loss.
Lauren Rivers scored a goal for the Lady Bison in the second period.
Chelsea Kent had a game-high six goals for St. Francis. Catherine Helming chipped in four goals and Kate Simmons finished with three.
Howard goalkeeper Amber Meeks finished with 10 goals while Danielle Pokusa stopped nine shots for the Red Flash.
The win snapped a 48-game losing streak for St. Francis.
HU is back in action on Saturday at Seton Hill. Game time is slated for 12:30 p.m.
