SMALLS, COX NAMED TO ATLANTIC SUN CONFERENCE PRESEASON ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM

WASHINGTON, D.C. (www.howard-bison.com) – January 9 – On Wednesday, Jan. 9, the Atlantic Sun Conference announced its 2013 Lacrosse Preseason Honorees.
Howard's Cynithia Smalls and Jaymie Cox were named to the Preseason All-Conference Team, while freshmen Hayley King and Victoria Lockhart were named to the Newcomer Watch List.
Smalls is a 5'6" junior attacker from Far Rockaway, N.Y., Cox is a 4'11" sophomore mid-fielder from Hendersonville, Tenn., while King is freshman mid-fielder from Concord, Calif., and Lockhart freshman mid-fielder from Flushing, Mich.
The 2013 Howard University lacrosse season kicks off on Friday, Feb. 8 as the Lady Bison host Winthrop at 6:00 p.m.
