WOMEN'S LACROSSE SEASON RECAP
The Women’s Lacrosse team closed out its best season under the direction of Head Coach Sarah Schermerhorn. The Bison finished the season 1-16, 0-3 in A-Sun Conference play. This season, the Bison saw action in 17 regular season games averaging 8.2 goals per game.

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. -- Wesleyan junior Lydia Kring netted a hat trick and five other players scored two goals each as Wesleyan University earned a 18-10 win over Howard University in women's lacrosse action Tuesday afternoon. Howard was led on the scoresheet by sophomore Courtland Lackey, who tallied five goals to raise her team-leading total to 21. Wesleyan improved to 5-6 with the victory, while Howard now stands 0-7.

Lacrosse Falls Short in NLC Consolation Game to Liberty, 16-13
DAVIDSON, N.C. – After dropping to Jacksonville in the National Lacrosse Conference quarterfinals, the Howard lacrosse team was awarded a consolation game where they faced the Liberty Flames. Despite fighting back from a seven-point deficit, the Lady Bison (4-13) were unable to score enough before time expired, officially ending their season with a 16-3 loss. Ironically just one year ago, the tables were turned as the Lady Bison defeated Liberty (7-11) in their final game of the 2010 season with a 17-11 victory.
