CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Howard women's soccer team (1-11) lost a non-conference decision to Charleston Southern (8-4) by a final score of 4-0 Thursday afternoon at Buccaneer Field.
Bison keeper Jessamyn Perkins picked up 10 saves. Alyssa Burdros finished with three save for CSU.
The Buccaneers played strong defense and denied Howard of several scoring opportunities. The Lady Bison were limited to 11 shots, none of them on goal. Charleston Southern managed three corner kicks while HU picked up two. Howard was assessed one yellow card in the match.
The Lady Bison will return to action on Friday when they face at South Carolina State in a conference matchup in Orangeburg, S.C.
