Aug 26, 2007Lady Bison dominate in scrimmageWASHINGTON, D.C. - Howard scored three goals in the first half and went on to shut out Columbia Union, 7-0 in a women's soccer scrimmage at Greene Stadium. "This was a confidence booster," Head Coach Erinn Garner said. "Today was the first time we had a chance to see the team as a whole on the field and there are just a few minor things we need to work on." Delaine Anderson led all scorers with three goals. Natalie Williston, Stephanie McLean, Brittney Miner and Briana Gamble finished with one goal each. Gamble also added a team-high two-assists. The Bison return to action on Friday, Aug. 31 with a non-conference game against VMI in Lexington, Va. |
