WASHINGTON, D.C. - Amber McCall had a pair of goals to lead Florida Gulf Coast to a 4-1 win over Howard Sunday afternoon in women's soccer action at Greene Stadium.
Briana Gamble scored the lone goal for the Lady Bison in the first half at 13:32 on an assist from Natalie Williston. A goal by McCall at 25:42 tied things up at 1-1 going into the break.
The Lady Eagles picked things up in the second half as McCall added her second goal of the day at 58:34. Kelly Sheriff scored in the 76th minute while Amanda Suchko picked up a goal at 80:15 on an assist from Sheriff and Caytlan MacKenzie.
FGCU outshot the Lady Bison 17-3. Goalkeeper Jessamyn Perkins picked up four saves on the afternoon.
Howard (0-3) returns to action on Sept. 12 with a non-conference matchup against UMBC in Baltimore.
