Women's Soccer Falls on the Road at Radford, 4-0

RADFORD, VA. - The Howard women's soccer team (0-10) lost a non-conference decision to Radford (6-4) by a final score of 4-0 Saturday afternoon at Patrick D. Cupp Memorial Stadium.  

Bison keeper Jessamyn Perkins  faced nine shots on goal, stopping five of those. Alex Traughber and Emily Heath combined for one save for RU.

The Highlanders played strong defense and denied Howard of several scoring opportunities. The Lady Bison were limited to three shots and just one shot on goal, which came off the foot of Natalie Whilliston. Each team managed five corner kicks and Radford had a 11-9 edge in fouls. Howard was assessed one yellow card in the match.

The Lady Bison will return to action on Friday, Oct. 12 when they host at Delaware State in a conference matchup at Greene Stadium.
