Bison Booters Fall to George Mason
FAIRFAX, VA. - Kelly Keelan had three goals to lead George Mason to a 9-1 win over Howard Tuesday night at George Mason Stadium.
Senior Meghan Nick took two shots for HU, one of them on goal. Senior Natalie Williston and freshman Camryn Triplett also logged a shot for the Bison.
Senior keeper Jessamyn Perkins stopped 15 shots in 90 minutes of action.
Howard was outshot 38-4 and trailed 6-0 in corner kicks. The Bison were credited with a goal in the 12th minute when Patriot Capricia Alston attempted to redirect and put the ball in the net for own goal.
HU (1-7) returns home on Sunday against Youngstown State. Game time at Greene Stadium is slated for 1pm.
