Sep 21, 2008 Howard Falls Short Against Youngstown StateWASHINGTON, D.C. - Natalie Williston took three shots on goal but it was not enough as Youngstown State defeated Howard, 4-0 Sunday afternoon at Greene Stadium. Aliyah Glenn and Rachael Lee added a pair of shot attempts while Samantha Cunningham and Brittany Miner added one shot each. Howard keeper Jessamyn Perkins has six saves in the loss while YSU goalkeeper Mariah Snyder had seven saves in 90 minutes of action. Jordan Gapczynski had two goals for Youngstown State. Carrie Wack and Jodi Bowlen chipped in one goal apiece. HU (1-8) is off for a week before returning to action on Sunday, Sept. 28 with a road matchup at Longwood.
