Howard Falls to Longwood in USC Tournament
FARMVILLE, VA. - The Howard women's soccer team wrapped up its season with a 3-0 semifinal loss to Longwood in the United Soccer Conference (USC) tournament Saturday evening in Farmville, Va.
Rachael Lee and Natalie Whilliston each had one shot attempt for HU, who concludes the regular season 4-11 (3-2 USC).
Alex Myers, Ashlee McConnell and Soraya Serra had one goal apiece for the Lancers (9-7-2). With the win, Longwood moves on to the USC Championship title game versus Utah Valley on Monday at 4:30 pm.
Senior goalkeeper Jessamyn Perkins stopped eight shots for the Lady Bison.
