Women's Soccer Falls to Florida Gulf Coast

FORT MYERS, FLA. - Senior goalkeeper Jessamyn Perkins had a season-high 17 saves as Howard fell 5-0 to Florida Gulf Coast, Wednesday evening in Fort Myers, Fla.

"Their keeper made some amazing saves, and kept them game, "said Florida Gulf Coast coach Jim Blankenship.

Perkins faced 34 shots and allowed just five goals. Stephanie McLean took the lone shot attempt for HU, a shot on goal, eight minutes into the first half.

Howard (1-5) is in action on Sunday with a matchup against crosstown rival George Washington at 1pm.
