DOVER, DEL. - Retha Koefoed scored two goals and Jordan Brown added one as Howard rolled over Delaware State, 3-0 for its first win of the season.
The Bison also picked up its first conference win of the season in Great West action.
The Howard offense dominated the game with HU taking 20 shots while limiting DSU to six.
Koefoed scored her first goal 10 minutes into the first half on a free kick. The freshman added her second goal in the 72nd minute.
Brown found the back of the net at 23:50 on a Cynthia Snyder assist.
HU (1-6-1, 1-0 Great West) got a pair of saves from sophomore keeper Chanel Bell.
The Bison return to action next Sunday, Oct. 4 with a home matchup against NJIT.
