The Howard women's soccer team traveled to Fairfax, Va. to take on George Mason in hopes of winning their second game of the season. Mason (2-3-2) defeated the Bison in a 2-0 decision, however. With the loss, HU falls to 1-6-1 on the year.
Howard goalie, Kyra Dickinson made five saves on the day, playing the entire 90 minutes. Dickinson faced seven shots on goal out of 21 shots altogether from George Mason. Howard only recorded four shots, including just two on goal.
Each team was playing an equally physical game, committing 12 fouls each. Also Howard took one corner kick compared to George Mason's 10 corner kicks.
The Lady Bison are back in action next week when they travel to West Point, NY to take on Army beginning at 4 p.m.
