Lady Bison Edged by Army, 1-0
WEST POINT, NY – The Howard women's soccer team played a close game against the West Point Army Black Knights (6-2-2), but came up short 1-0. With the loss, the Bison fall to 1-7-1 on the season.
The Howard offense managed three shots on goal. Altogether the Bison recorded eight shots, with an equal amount of shots in each half. Howard also took one corner kick and committed 12 fouls.
Goalie, Kyra Dickinson, made 10 saves and played the entire 90 minutes.
Army commanded the field by making four corner kicks, 31 shots including 11 on goal, and committed six fouls.
Next up, the Lady Bison host Liberty University at home on Sunday Sept. 25. The game is slated for 4 p.m.
