LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (www.howard-bison.com) – The Howard University women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 loss to Rider University on Friday, Aug. 24 in Lawrenceville, N.J.
Senior forward Retha Koeford notched a game-high three shot attempts, while sophomore midfielder Nia Walcott tallied two shot attempts.
Sophomore goalkeeper Kyra Dickinson continued her defensive effort with 13 saves in the Friday contest.
As a unit, HU made nine shot attempts with one corner kick.
Rider's Tara Ballay and Jody Sokol each attained a goal for the win, while Jenn Nichols gathered four saves.
The mighty blue and white returns home on Monday, Aug. 27 to face Longwood at 7:00 p.m. at Greene Stadium in Washington, D.C.
