HOWARD WOMEN'S SOCCER EMBARKS ON A WEEKEND OF ACTION
WASHINGTON, D.C. (www.howard-bison.com) – The Howard University women's soccer team will spend a weekend in competition with a Friday, Sept. 7 at Wagner in Staten Island, N.Y., and by hosting Mount St. Mary's in Washington, D.C., on Sunday, Sept. 9.
Wagner "Seahawks"
- Friday, Sept. 7 at 4:00 p.m.
- The Seahawks are 1-4 on the season
- Wagner, which is located in Staten Island, N.Y., is a member of the Northeast Conference (NEC)
Mount St. Mary's "The Mount"
- Sunday, Sept. 9 at 1:00 p.m.
- The Mount is 1-2 on the season (does not reflect Friday, Sept. 7 match)
- Mount St. Mary's, which is located in Westmoreland, Pa., is a member of the Northeast Conference (NEC)

WASHINGTON, D.C. (www.howard-bison.com) – The Howard University women's soccer lost 3-1 to George Mason on Tuesday, Sept. 4 on the Howard University campus on the Greene Stadium field in Washington, D.C.
Senior Jordan Brown placed Howard on the board at the 4:05 mark of the second half, when she out ran her defender, beat out the goalie and notched a goal on the right.
HU went for two shot attempts, while GM went for 21 shots and finished with three goals.
Sophomore goalkeeper Kyra Dickinson finished the competition with 12 saves.
HU continues the season at Wagner on Friday, Sept. 7 in Staten Island, N.Y., at 4:00 p.m.
