WASHINGTON, D.C. (www.howard-bison.com) – Howard University senior Jordan Brown tallied a goal for the women's soccer team during their 3-1 loss to Mary Washington on Tuesday, Oct. 2 in Fredericksburg, Va.
Brown opened the evening contest with the first goal between the two squads, along with tallying three shots and two shots on goal.
Sophomore Kyra Dickinson served as HU's goalkeeper where she notched five saves.
The Lady Bison went for nine shots and five corner kicks.
Mary Washington went for 10 shots, eight shots on goals and three goals. Jessica Bednarcik led the offense with two goals, while Kelsey Carter attained a single goal.
HU returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 6 against South Carolina State in Orangeburg, S.C., at 1:00 p.m.
