HOWARD FALLS 5-2 IN CHAMPIONSHIP CONTEST TO UTAH VALLEY

OREM, UTAH (www.howard-bison.com) – In their 2012 Great West (GW) Conference Soccer Tournament appearance, the Howard University women's soccer team fell to reigning GW champions Utah Valley on Monday, Nov. 5 in the championship game.
In three days of action, senior Jordan Brown and sophomores Kyra Dickinson and Treschelle Gibson-Serrette received All-Tournament Team honors.
Lady Bison seniors Brown and Retha Koeford finished their collegiate careers with a goal apiece. Koeford scored a goal at the 12:46 mark with a direct kick, as Brown notched a goal off an assist from Koeford at the 47:41 mark.
Howard concludes the season with a record of 4-16-2, while UVU attains I second consecutive Great West title with a record of 9-11-1.
