Tennis Teams Celebrates Renovated Courts

The Howard University men's and women's tennis teams invite the Howard community to "A Community Tennis Celebration" on Saturday, September 9 from 9 am until 12 noon at the newly refurbished courts at Banneker Stadium, located in the 2600 block of Georgia Avenue NW.

            The event will be sponsored by the Howard men's and women's teams, Tennis at Shiloh and the ANC Commission 1B09 and will feature free tennis lesson for adults and children, a cardio tennis demonstration, an exhibition by the Bison teams, music, give aways and refreshments.

            The Howard tennis teams play all their home games at the Banneker courts and this will be an opportunity for the community to see the finished project.
