Howard Downed By NJIT

TENAFLY, N.J. - The Lady Bison netters fell 6-1 in a non-league matchup to NJIT on Feb. 14 in Tenafly, N.J.
In singles action, Alyssa Work recorded the only win for the Bison defeating Ana Lidon 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 3 match. Michelle Gee and Lauren Fenn fell 6-0 and 6-3 to Anine Lovdal and Isha Toor, respectively, in their matches. Iulia Doci downed HU's Ashley Moore 6-0, 6-1 in the No.1 match. Whitney Ambush lost to Fanny Aizier 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 5 match.
In doubles action, the Bison were defeated in both matches. The No.1 pair of Work and Gee were defeated in a very tough contest, 8-6 by Doci and Lidon. In the No.2 doubles matchup Lovdal and Aizier downed Moore and Ambush, 9-7.
Howard is back in action Feb. 21 against Mount St. Mary's at Watkins Park in Upper Marlboro, Md.
