WASHINGTON, D.C. - Michelle Brown (Los Angeles, Calif./Georgetown) was named the MEAC Athlete of the Week while Brittney Morgan (Beverly Hills, Calif./Beverly Hills H.S.) earned MEAC Rookie of the Week honors, the conference announced today.

Brown topped NJIT's Nina Mayevska at no. 1 singles to lead HU to a 4-3 victory. After falling in the first set 3-6, Brown won the second set 7-5 and the third set 6-2.

Morgan won in straight sets 6-0, 6-1 at the number three position against NJIT's Anine Lovdal. 

The Lady Bison host Mount St. Mary's on Saturday in a Think Pink match at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center. The festivities begin at 3pm while the match tips off at 4pm.
