Lady Bison Sweep Weekly Tennis Honors for Second Consecutive Week
WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Lady Bison have swept the weekly MEAC honors for the second straight week. Michelle Brown was named the MEAC Athlete of the Week while Brittney Morgan garnered Rookie of the Week honors.
Brown (So., Los Angeles, Calif.) topped Mount St. Mary's Chelsea
Johnson to lead Howard to a 7-0 victory. Brown won the game in
straight sets 6-1, 6-1 at the number one position.
Morgan (Fr., Beverly Hills, Calif.) won in straight sets 6-0, 6-1
at the number two position against Emily Bolchoz.
Brown, Morgan and the rest of the Lady Bison host Towson in its next match on March 9.
