Brittney Morgan Earns Fourth MEAC Rookie of the Week Nod
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Freshman Brittney Morgan (Beverly Hills, Calif./Beverly Hills H.S.) was named the MEAC Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season, the conference announced today.
Playing at No. 1 singles for the first time this season, Morgan topped Radford's Ivana Tomaic 6-3, 6-1. She also defeated Coppin State's Ana Sebescen 6-2, 6-0 in the Bison's league opener on March 21.
Howard (5-3, 1-0 MEAC) hosts Morgan State in a conference matchup on Saturday at 1 pm.
