Women's Tennis Continues Preseason Swing; Newcomers Pave the Way
NORFOLK, VA. - Brittney Morgan has continued her assault on college tennis this past weekend. The freshman from Beverly Hills, Calif., now 12-1 in singles competition, won the B draw at the Hampton Roads Invitational.
Morgan defeated Navy's Imani Decquir in the finals 6-3, 6-2. Transfer Anne Akhimien lost in the semifinals of the C draw to Old Dominion's Diana Ivanova 6-3, 6-3.
The Lady Bison resume fall action on Oct. 22-25 at ITA Regionals in Blacksburg, Va. The men's squad competes in ITA action on Oct. 23-25 in Norfolk, Va.
