FARMVILLE, VA –  The Howard Univ. women's tennis team edged Longwood 4-3 in Farmville, Va. on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Bison improve to 10-8 overall.

Brittany Morgan defeated Marta Pinyol at at No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-1 and took another victory in No. 2 doubles with Brooke Hawthorne (8-4). Michelle Brown beat Veronika Bohm 6-4, 6-2 in No. 3 singles, while Hawthorne took the win in No. 4 doubles over Allison Shulman 6-3, 6-3.

The Lady Bison wrapped up its regular season with a 10-8 record and will compete in the MEAC Championship Tournament
