The Bison women's tennis team were back in action on Saturday against the Towson Tigers. The Lady Bison captured the first point winning two of the three doubles at number 1 Katelyn Stokes and Brittney Morgan beat Towson's Ayana Dow and Ariel Burke 9-7 and at 3 doubles Brooke Hawthorne and Michelle Brown downed Nisha Shah and Carly Easdale 8-3.

The Lady Bison won five of the six singles matches to cap off the victory. Stokes(6-2,6-3) at one singles, Morgan (6-4, 6-4) at two singles and Anne Akhimien(6-4, 6-0)at number six, all cruised to straight set wins . Michell Brown at four singles defeated Andrea Samlin (6-0,4-6, 6-0) while Talia Johnson bested Ayana Dow 6-2, 4-6(10-7) at number five.

The Lady Bison will returned to action on Friday, April 13, 2012 as the three seed from the north in Raleigh, N.C. at MEAC Championships.
