ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Howard University Lady Bison took on the James Madison Dukes Saturday at the Brigade Sports Complex in Annapolis, Md., but couldn't pull out their first win for the season.

The Bison (0-4) captured two wins against the Dukes (2-1) in singles competition. Katelyn Stokes defeated Taylor Pinchoff of JMU and Umarah Mughee took down Jacqueline Palmucci from the Dukes. 

Doubles competition was a battle that the Lady Bison fell short of victory. Howard fought to the last stroke, but just couldn't pull through for the win. There are still in search of their first victory overall.

Their next face-to-face match is March 2, 2013 at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md.
